FAQ

Question: How do I get the Chocolate and Beer Festival?
Answer: Ride your bike, take the free shuttle from BART or carpool.

Q: What time does the festival start?
A: Chocolate and Beer Festival starts at 12noon Saturday February 16th. Festival continues until 6pm.

Q: Is the festival kid friendly?
A: Yes. Kids aged 11 and under will get in free with a paying adult. Also there will be a kid zone with bounce house, drawing placemats and a face painter.

Q: How much are chocolate tokens?
A: Chocolate sample tokens are $2. There will also be full chocolate available for purchase. Our new restaurant, Assemble will be featuring a nice concession food menu: Baby Back Ribs, Deli Sandwiches, Vegetarian Chili, Coleslaw, Cornbread and a special dessert, Chocolate Cupcake with caramel stout icing.

Q: How much are beer tokens?
A: Beer tokens are $6. Beers are 12oz. But if you have the commemorative "Chocolate and Beer Festival" glass (comes with pre-purchased VIP tickets or at the festival for $10) all of your draft beers will be filled to the top of the glass, which is ~16oz. So you get an extra 2oz pour on each draft beer.

Q: Can tokens be sold back?
A: They can be used at other Craneway Festivals such as Oktoberfest East Bay, www.OktoberfestEastBay.com. However there are no refunds for tokens.

Q: Do you take credit cards inside?
A: Yes, you can purchase your tickets and tokens using cash or credit cards.

Q: Is there an ATM in the festival?
A: Yes, there is an ATM inside the festival just to the left of the restrooms.

Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Sorry no dogs allow, but do email us fun@OktoberfestEastBay.com if you think we should have a special area for dogs next year.
